WINNING STARS ROOM: This room is for children aged 3 – 5 years and we prepare them for life in the “big school”. We reinforce learning and knowledge acquired in the Winning Tots room and gradually get them ready for school life. We do this by focussing on both the prime and specific areas of learning.
In this room we have a ratio of 1 to 8 and each child is assigned a key person who plans activities and generally does various things to meet the individual need of each child. Children who are going to school normally have their graduation party at the end of the summer time every year usually in July and it is usually an exciting and emotional event.
We also have a routine in this room and this is shown below.
